Self-Discovery: 30 Day Challenge
I have created a worksheet for a 30-day self-discovery challenge. Self-Discovery is essential to our growth and necessary for the health of our minds. Taking time out for ourselves and spending a little time discovering who we are will help us to be better in our daily roles and to love ourselves more fully.
Some advice for the challenge:
- The benefits of yoga or stretching will be noticed after about a week.
- To help someone else, donate something… even time. The most deserving person will bring the most rewards.
- On a solo-date eat at the bar in a restaurant. It is a great place to meet people and doesn’t feel as awkward.
- Attempting to eliminate negative thoughts will be tricky at first, but practicing this over time becomes much easier, and you will begin to notice all negative thoughts. You can then correct your mistakes in thinking.
- Writing down your thoughts allows you to process them and remove any toxic buildup of negative thoughts and thoughts that have needed a release. Doing this often will feel like a weight has been lifted.
- Practicing self-love and making time for yourself is the furthest thing from selfish behavior. You cannot adequately provide in your rold (whatever that may be) without loving yourself first and feeling at ease in yourself. Be a better person for everyone else by being a better person for yourself.
