JournoPortfolio

A review of JournoPortfolio. As a final project for my Master’s degree, it is a requirement that each student in this course of study creates an online portfolio of our work. This portfolio website that we make helps showcase all the classes we have taken to obtain our degree and what we have learned in each. Of course, it also helps us show what kind of work we have done and the quality of our work.

The student can choose any platform desired and is encouraged to try as many different options as possible. After trying out NUMEROUS websites, note sites, journal sites, and portfolios, I finally decided to go with JournoPortfolio.

JournoPortfolio has made the top of my list over Prezi, GoogleSites, SharePoint, Edublogs, and Even topping out over using Wix  (which is great for photographic portfolios… not my favorite for text). The reason for this is the simplicity of design. It is made precisely for what I need to use it for, a portfolio. It is easy to use and create. Most importantly, when visitors view my site, it is simple for the person viewing it to understand exactly what they are there for and see what they need to see.

I love that it is precisely what I need without any mess or interference. Any writer or journalist needing to show their work should highly consider using JournoPortfolio. This site focuses right where it needs to… on the Artist/Author/Journalist and their portfolio.

Discovery of JournoPortfolio

I began my search over a year ago for the perfect platform to use as my portfolio. At the time, I hadn’t yet discovered JournoPortfolio. As I searched the web and tried multiple sites, I felt I was only wasting my time. It seemed impossible to find something even remotely similar to what I was looking for in a portfolio site. When I finally stumbled upon JournoPortfolio, I was shocked that it was absolutely everything I had wanted in all of the other websites but could not find. I have been using JournoPortfolio for close to a year, and I still love the layout, design, and ease of use. The website is beautiful and simple so as not to confuse. Of course, more details and information can be added to the site if you prefer, but the basic layout is perfect for what I need.

I highly recommend checking out their website, and if you require a portfolio, I strongly encourage you to try them out. You will not be disappointed!
